Coldbrook, N.S., woman arrested after RCMP recovers stolen property

A 31-year-old Coldbrook, N.S., woman was arrested after the Kings District RCMP recovered stolen property at a residence.

Officers responded to a report of a break and enter into a construction trailer on Randolph Road in Cambridge, N.S., Thursday.

Police said industrial lights and a tool were believed to have been taken during the incident which occurred on Jan. 26.

“A suspect vehicle, a red Toyota RAV-4, was identified on video surveillance and later located at a residence on Cumberland Dr. in Coldbrook,” read a news release from the RCMP.

Police said they executed a search warrant at the home on Saturday. Officers arrested a woman and recovered the industrial lights along with other construction tools.

The woman was released pending an appearance in Kentville provincial court on March 10. She’s expected to face a charge of possession of property obtained by crime (under $5,000).
