SASKATOON - Canada's health minister says doctors need to stand together with the federal government to face a possible swine flu resurgence this fall.

Leona Aglukkaq told doctors attending the Canadian Medical Association annual meeting in Saskatoon that Ottawa is on track to have an H1N1 vaccine ready for November.

Aglukkaq says she knows there are questions about who will get the vaccine first but the government is still refining its plan.

Critics say her speech was vague and lacked specific details that could help doctors and patients.

Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett, who is also a physician, says she's disappointed they didn't hear how the government plans to get anti-viral drugs into the arms of Canadians.

Aglukkaq also talked about the medical isotope shortage and thanked doctors for using alternatives, but she added that more needs to be done to find a long-term solution to the problem.
