OTTAWA - The Canada Border Services Agency has removed a second foreign fugitive from the country after his capture in Toronto a week ago.

Shameer Allie of Guyana was one of 32 foreign nationals on a wanted list issued by the government agency last month.

He was captured by RCMP last Thursday after authorities received several tips to the Border Watch Line.

Public Safety Minister Vic Toews released the list Aug. 18 and urged Canadians to help identify the 32 people who he said have not complied with immigration legislation and have criminal convictions in Canada.

Five have since been apprehended or located and two have so far been removed from the country.

The border services agency is warning people not take action to apprehend any of the listed individuals but is asking them to instead call the CBSA Border Watch Line at 1-888-502-9060.
