Communities across Canada will honour this country's veterans on Friday with Remembrance Day ceremonies large and small. Here's a list of services in major cities:

Halifax:

  • 11 a.m. service at the Cenotaph, Grand Parade.

Saint John:

  • 11 a.m. service at Harbour Station

Fredericton:

  • 10:30 a.m. parade begins at the Fredericton library branch on Carleton St., followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Fredericton Cenotaph.

St. John's:

  • 10:45 a.m. ceremony at the National War Memorial.

Charlottetown:

  • 10:00 a.m. march to the Charlottetown Cenotaph, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at 11 a.m.

Montreal:

  • 10:30 a.m. Official Montreal Remembrance Day ceremony on McGill University's lower field.

  • 10:45 a.m. ceremony at the Outremont Park Cenotaph

Ottawa:

  • 11 a.m. ceremony at the National War Memorial.

Toronto:

  • 10:30 a.m. service at the Cenotaph at Old City Hall.

Winnipeg:

  • 10:15 a.m. Joint Veterans' Association of Manitoba annual Remembrance Day service at the Convention Centre.
  • 10:30 a.m. Gun salute at the Manitoba Legislature

Regina:

  • 10:45 a.m. parade at the Regina Cenotaph, Victoria Park.

Edmonton:

  • 9:30 a.m. service at City Hall.

Calgary:

  • 10 a.m. ceremony at Jubilee Auditorium.
  • 10:30 a.m. service at Calgary Memorial Park Cenotaph.

Vancouver:

  • 10 a.m. service at the South Memorial Cenotaph.

Victoria:

  • 10:30 a.m. service at the Victoria Parliament grounds.
  • 10:30 a.m. service at the Cenotaph on the Legislature Grounds.
