Sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, The World's 50 Best Restaurants announced on Tuesday the bottom half of the best 100 for 2015.

Juicy details include a climb for Madrid-based Diverxo, which moved up 35 places from 94 to 59, Canada's return to the list after a five-year absence, India's first entry since 2012, plus 11 new restaurants in this part of the ranking.

In terms of geographic concentration, the U.S. boasts nine entries, while China and the UK count four each, according to the announcement.

The list of 51-100 puts an emphasis on emerging talents and new establishments.

Restaurants are selected for this section of the list using the same voting process as for the top 50 and the announcement comes less than a week ahead of the 50 Best list reveal.
