Kim Kardashian West has won the first Webby Award for "breaking the internet."

The Webbys, a series of awards for excellence on the internet, chose the star of the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality show for "her unparalleled success online" and her use of the internet to "create buzz, engage with fans and communities, and get the world to pay attention."

The Webby Award ceremony will be held May 16 in New York City. Winners are listed on the Webby Awards site and the show and speeches will be available to watch online starting May 17.
