Sean Bean is to marry for a fifth time.

The former 'Game of Thrones' actor has proposed to 29-year-old former nanny Ashley Moore and she has agreed to be his wife, the Daily Express newspaper reports.

The 55-year-old star's decision to tie the knot again comes just three years after he insisted marriage didn't suit him.

He said: "Of course I believe in love. There is nobody who doesn't believe in love.

"But marriage - that fits some people but obviously not me."

The 'Lord of the Rings' actor first married in 1981, to childhood sweetheart Debra James, when he was just 21 years old, but they split seven years later.

His second wife was actress Melanie Hill - the mother of his daughters Lorna, 27, and Molly, 23 - who he was with for almost 15 years, but married for just seven.

In 1997, he married his 'Sharpe' co-star Abigail Cruttenden and they had daughter Evie the following year, but split a few months later and divorced in 2000.

Sean's fourth marriage, to Georgina Sutcliffe - who is 20 years his junior - was famously tempestuous and their wedding in 2008 was delayed by a month following a furious row shortly before they were originally due to wed.

As well as a brief split after a year together, the pair went their separate ways after two years of marriage, saying they found life together "intolerable".
