DJ Tiesto, the runner-up on the Forbes list of the world's highest paid DJs.

Financial magazine Forbes has crowned Calvin Harris the world's top-earning DJ, according to its newly-unveiled list of the world's highest paid DJs.

The rankings, based solely on the individual's DJ income, placed Harris's "salary" this year in the vicinity of US$63 million, with fellow DJ Tiesto the closest runner-up on $38M.

Tiesto replaces David Guetta, who has been displaced to No.3 after earning $28M for his DJing in 2015, just over Zedd in fourth place with $24.5M.

Steve Aoki rounded out the top five on $23.5M, with others who made the list including Diplo ($23M), Skrillex ($20M), Kaskade ($19M), Martin Garrix ($16M), Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ($15.5M), Afrojack ($15M), and Avicii ($14.5M) (via Forbes).
