Montreal police are continuing their search for a cab driver who’s been missing for more than a week.
Police say Si Belkacem Silakhal, 52, was last seen around 6 p.m. on Dec. 21 while driving his cab.
The van was found near downtown Montreal on Monday and police said Silakhal was not in the vehicle and there were no indications that a violent incident took place inside the van.
Silakhal's wife told CTV Montreal that she's extremely worried for her husband. She said her husband has diabetes and high blood pressure, and she fears he’s without his medication.
Police said Silakhal has not made any bank or credit card transactions since he disappeared.
Silakhal is described as having greying hair, brown eyes and weighing about 190 lbs.
