Two fishermen discovered the remains of a human leg floating under a Vancouver bridge Friday, and police were quickly called in to investigate.

Images obtained by CTV British Columbia show what appears to be a shin bone along with the remains of a foot inside a white running shoe.

The fishermen discovered the leg under the city’s Cambie Street bridge.

At least 10 severed feet have washed ashore in B.C. since 2007, while other sightings have turned out to be hoaxes.

In many of the cases, the BC Coroners Service have said the feet naturally detached from decomposing bodies.
