TREPASSEY, N.L. -- RCMP say a man's body has been recovered in a pond on Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula after a boating incident.
Police say the 46-year-old man was in the Bear Hill Pond area of Trepassey when his boat capsized Monday.
Rescue attempts at the time were unsuccessful and the man's body was recovered today.
The investigation is ongoing.
