With summer and patio season in full swing, restaurant reservation site OpenTable has released its list of the top 100 outdoor dining restaurants in Canada.
Leading the charge is the province of Ontario, with 41 winning restaurants followed by British Columbia (29), Alberta (17) and Quebec (12).
Bryan Huehn, Open Table Country Manager for Canada, says the list highlights diversity and patio offerings.
"Most Canadians can only enjoy outdoor dining for a few months out of the year, and summer is a very popular dining season for us as locals and tourists take advantage of our vibrant outdoor ambience, from the lush surroundings of Stanley Park to the charming elegance of Niagara-on-the-Lake," he said in a statement.
For the list, more than 275,000 restaurant reviews for 1,600 restaurants across the country were considered.
Restaurants that met a minimum number of qualifying reviews and ratings - and that offered outdoor dining options - were then scored and sorted.
