VANCOUVER - Police investigating the Stanley Cup riot in Vancouver say the number of people who've turned themselves in has risen to 34 while officers continue to pore over thousands of photos and videos in an attempt to identify more rioters.

Those who turned themselves in have not yet been charged.

A special unit set up to investigate the violence -- the Integrated Riot Investigation Team -- says it's reviewing 15,000 images and nearly 3,000 individual video files, which amounts to as much as 16-hundred hours of video.

The team says every video is being carefully screened, sometimes frame by frame, to capture the clearest picture of a face or an identifying article of clothing.

Police are also calling for more submissions from the public, saying it's never too late to send in images people may have on their camera or phone.

The new email address to collect the images is riot@vpd.ca.
