FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - A 17-year-old southern Alberta youth has been arrested on allegations of abduction and luring a child over the Internet after a 13-year-old boy was reported missing in Fort McMurray, Alta. Thursday.

Const. Tiffany Miller, a spokeswoman for Fort McMurray RCMP, confirmed that the 13-year-old boy was found in Taber, Alta., Friday, but wouldn't give any details of what led the police investigation there.

She expects the boy will be returned to his home in northwestern Alberta.

The boy's family told police he'd run away from home.

Miller says since the investigation is in its preliminary stages, police aren't releasing many details about the circumstances of the case.
