Winnipeg police are searching for a suspect after a bus driver was assaulted Monday afternoon. Winnipeg police told CTV News officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. to an assault on a bus near Gateway and Springfield roads. When they arrived, officers found an injured bus driver. The driver was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are alleging a passenger assaulted the driver. No arrests have been made. Police said they are looking for the suspect. The service’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
