High school football action continued on Thursday with seven games hitting the field. It was a one score game between River East and Sisler with River East grabbing the 21-14 win. Kildonan East won by a field goal over Kelvin 21-18. It was a pair of close contests with West Kildonan securing a 15-9 win over Springfield, while Garden City squeezed out a 20-19 win over Tec Voc. Oak Park dominated St. Paul’s 45-7 and Miles Mac doubled up Crocus 36-15. The last game of the day saw Windsor Park’s defence stand strong against Maples with a 27-2 win. Week 2 wraps up Friday with eight games on the docket.
