A new casting opportunity is giving Manitobans the chance to share the silver screen with seven-time Grammy award winner Toni Braxton. In a series of social media posts, MadLib Casting and Film Services announced it is casting stand-in and background roles for the Lifetime Channel film, “Take It Back.” The movie centres on three former sorority sisters who come together after one is released from prison. The three of them then work to uncover the truth behind a crime that changed their lives. Braxton, who is best known for her hit songs “Un-Break My Heart,” “Breathe Again” and “He Wasn’t Man enough,” is confirmed to star in the film. Filming, which will take place in Winnipeg, Selkirk and Gull Lake, is scheduled to run from Aug. 20 to Sept. 6. More information on casting descriptions and how to apply is available online.
