Winnipeggers may soon spot ‘Mad Men’ star Jon Hamm taking in the city. According to ‘Variety,’ Hamm is cast to play the lead role in the tv series ‘American Hostage,’ with production scheduled to start in Winnipeg this fall. Hamm starred in the podcast version of the psychological thriller, which tells the story of a beloved radio reporter who finds himself in the middle of a crisis when a hostage-taker demands to be interviewed on his news program. The ‘Mad Men’ star is set to play Fred Heckman in the show.
