A Winnipeg company is moving out of its flagship building on Portage Avenue to a new space downtown in the coming months. IG Wealth Management said it would be selling its current building at 447 Portage Avenue and relocating its offices to a leased space at 360 Main Street. “Relocating to 360 Main strengthens our presence in the downtown core, supports its ongoing revitalization, and allows us to provide our employees with a modern, state-of-the-art work environment,” said Damon Murchison, president and CEO, in a statement. “As one of Winnipeg’s largest employers, we are proud to deepen our commitment to the community that has been central to our success.” In a news release, the company says in other markets, they no longer own but rather lease office spaces. “This shift allows the company to focus resources on what matters most: serving clients, supporting employees and advisors, and continuing to invest in the communities where it operates,” the company said. The move is expected to be complete by mid-2028, the company said.
