Dan Mazier secures second term with win in Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa

WINNIPEG — Dan Mazier cruised to his second term as the Member of Parliament for the Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa riding.

As of Tuesday morning, the Conservative incumbent had received 59.2 per cent of the vote with 291 of 292 polls reporting, according to CTV’s Decision Desk.

Arthur Holroyd, the NDP candidate for the riding, finished a distant second with 14.7 per cent of the vote as of Tuesday, while the Liberal’s Kevin Carlson finished in third place with 12 per cent of the vote. Donnan McKenna of the People’s Party of Canada has received 10.6 per cent of the vote.

Mazier, the former president of Keystone Agriculture Producers, was first elected during the 2019 election.
