CTV News declares Dan Mazier re-elected; Riding Mountain staying Conservative

Riding Mountain will be staying blue in the 2025 Federal Election.

CTV News is declaring Conservative incumbent Dan Mazier re-elected.

2021 Federal Election

Dan Mazier was re-elected for a second term with 59 per cent of the vote.

History

The riding was created in 2013 and was known as Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa. Following a boundary redistribution in 2022, it was renamed Riding Mountain. The Conservative Party has held the riding since its creation.

Boundaries

The riding includes the communities of Dauphin, Swan River, Roblin, Neepawa and Westlake-Gladstone.

Demographics

The riding has a population of 90,962, according to the 2021 census. It has a 65 per cent European population, and a 28 per cent Indigenous population.
