Three restaurant employees were injured after a woman allegedly randomly assaulted them. At 3:48 p.m. on Saturday, police received a call about a woman allegedly assaulting employees at a restaurant in the 1100 block of Main Street. According to a media release, the woman was causing a disturbance, and when she was asked to leave, she allegedly assaulted several staff and at one point used a key as a weapon. Several patrons intervened to help the employees until officers arrived. No injuries were reported. Less than 10 minutes after the call, police arrived and took her into custody. The 24-year-old woman is now facing two counts of assault and assault with a weapon charges. She was remanded into custody.
