Winning $50 million lottery ticket sold in Ontario

Now this could be cause for one heck of a party to ring in the new year.

There is one winning ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw -- and it was purchased somewhere in Ontario.

Four of the 10 MaxMillions prizes of $1-million dollars each were also claimed.

Two winning MaxMillions tickets were sold in British Columbia, one in Calgary, and one in Ontario.

The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Jan. 6 will be $16-million.
