Windsor International Airport will help you reach a sunny destination next winter

Air-Transat is returning to the Windsor airport (YQG), offering winter flights to sunny destinations.

Flights from Windsor to Punta Cana will start in December.

It’s a destination that Windsor International Airport CEO Mark Galvin said constantly comes up.

Travellers can book direct flights with Air Transat every Friday between December 19 and April 10.

“You are seeing some shifts obviously in that … but it’s always a dynamic situation and we always look for those trends and try to capitalize on and work with our partners to provide those destinations for our local community. And again, it’s sort of a wait and see as in, the air sector right now when it comes to that,” said Galvin.
