Windsor firefighters selling calendars to fundraise for local cancer centre

Local firefighters are taking off their shirts to raise money for cancer research.

Twelve Windsor firefighters are taking off their shirts in a fundraising effort.

Featured in their 2026 calendar, they’re raising money for the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund and the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.

The calendars are on sale for the next two months: $15 for one and $25 for two.

They’ll be sold at multiple locations including Indigo at Devonshire Mall, Windsor Regional Hospital and some Walmart and Superstore locations.

“We enjoy interacting with the community,” said Corey Donaldson, senior firefighter. “We enjoy signing calendars and taking pictures. So come on down and say hi to us.”

The locations will be posted weekly online, with a meet and greet opportunity with the models.

“It doesn’t take long in the career of a firefighter to either experience a coworker or a colleague who has experienced this horrible disease,” said Donaldson. “It really means a lot to us that we’re able to raise these funds that will stay in the community of Windsor-Essex.
