Windsor fire crews responded to an apartment fire in the 3900 block of Wyandotte Street East Sunday morning. Smoke was seen billowing from a third-floor balcony when firefighters arrived. Crews were able to contain the fire to the unit and set up ventilation in a stairwell. Paramedics and police attended the scene to assist fire crews. According to Windsor Fire, less than $5,000 in damages was sustained. Three occupants with minor injuries were treated on scene. Improper discarding of smoking materials is the suspected cause of the fire.
