The Windsor Police Service is looking for potential other victims in a sexual assault of a teen investigation that saw a 47-year-old man charged. In July 2026, the WPS launched an investigation after they received a report of a sexual assault involving a 16-year-old boy. Investigators said the victim met the man at a gym in the 7100 block of Enterprise Way in summer 2025. The man allegedly invited the teenager to his home, where he reportedly gave the victim alcohol. Officers said after the teenager was intoxicated, the suspect sexually assaulted him. The teenager was eventually able to leave. The victim told his parents about the incident, who then contacted police. On Aug. 21, Jomar Paringit Velasquez, 47 years old, also referred to as ‘Tito’, turned himself in to police headquarters. He was charged with sexual assault. No further details will be released at this time, in an effort to protect the victim. Investigators believe there could be more victims.
