A man has died after being hit in a two-vehicle collision. On Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to a serious collision at Hanna Street East and Windsor Avenue. Police said a vehicle, going eastbound on Hanna Street East, drove through a stop sign, hitting another vehicle that was going northbound on Windsor Avenue. The force of the collision pushed both vehicles towards the northeast corner of the intersection, hitting a pedestrian on the sidewalk, according to the Windsor Police Service. The 58-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later was pronounced dead. The intersection is still closed as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday as the investigation continues.
