NextStar Energy is celebrating producing its one millionth battery cell since production started in November. This marks a major milestone for the company’s growth. “The success of our production ramp-up belongs to our employees,” said Brett Hillock, chief operating officer of NextStar. “Our team continues to raise the bar, and this achievement is achievement is a direct reflection of their discipline technical expertise and unwavering commitment. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.” This comes after it was announced that LG Energy Solution will take over full ownership of the plant, as Stellantis sold its share and is staying as a customer. NextStar Energy said the production of ESS battery cells will continue to grow throughout the year.
