The Ciociaro Club is gearing up to hold its fourth annual Wine Festival. It will run from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a focus on local vintages produced in our region of southwestern Ontario. It is in an effort to re-enforce the importance of about supporting Canadian, homegrown products, goods, and services. Six local wineries will be featured, and the diverse vintages will be complimented by the fine Italian cuisine served up by the club’s chefs. Ermanna Felice is a volunteer organizer and member of the Ciociaro Club. Felice is pleased that there is demand from the community to bring the festival back for another year. “So, you can pre-purchase a ticket online [on Ciociaro Club’s website] under the events tab,” said Felice. “For $15 [in advance], it’ll be $20 at the door. So, I encourage everyone to buy in advance. it’s important. Because it unites our community. It brings people, here for our events. And this one in particular, it gives people a little flavor of what the to Ciociaro Club offers as well.” Net proceeds will support cultural and sporting programs at the club.
