Santa’s elves putting a lot of time into rehearsing for a Christmas musical set to take the stage this Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chrysler Theatre. The St. Clair College music theatre students present ‘Letters to Santa’ with all the fun, nostalgia, and yuletide tunes that we come to expect at this time of year. The story is set in St. Nick’s Workshop as Santa himself reads heartfelt and hopeful letters sent from around the globe. Meanwhile, the elves and reindeer are in frantic mode in preparation for the big night – the North Pole is a buzz with tremendous excitement. It’s a unique event – part three-course dinner followed by the holiday season-themed live performance on stage Wednesday afternoon we caught a glimpse of rehearsal that features 65 performers. Wiklanski is excited to bring the production to a very receptive Windsor audience. “So, in the whole in the holiday season, we like to prep,” said Wiklanski. “They’ve been prepping since September, and the community has really come to love this show because I think they get that classic tradition. But they also know they’re going to get something new and exciting every year.”
