Large blaze prompts response near Tremblay Beach Conservation Area

Lakeshore Fire was on scene of a large blaze in the area of Tremblay Beach Conservation Area on St. Clair Road on Friday evening.

Heavy smoke was visible in the area, however, police and fire services did not provide details about the blaze.

OPP confirmed that emergency services were at the scene, and asked that the public avoid the area.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Police say that the area was cleared just before midnight, and confirmed that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
