City of Windsor officials say a lane closure/reduction on E.C. Row Expressway at Banwell Road is being extended until May due to inclement weather. The E.C. Row eastbound right lane closure from Lauzon Parkway to Banwell Road that started on Monday, April 6, will now continue until Friday, May 1 at 6 p.m. The lane reduction was originally supposed to be over on April 24. There’s also a lane reduction at Banwell Road between the roundabout at Mulberry Drive/Wildwood Drive and the E.C. Row Expressway. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times in each direction. That reduction is expected to last until May 8 (weather permitting). The Banwell Interchange and Corridor project is estimated to cost $110.9 million, supported by $68.8 million in provincial funding.
