Chatham-Kent police handed out 163 traffic-related tickets during the Thanksgiving long weekend. Officers conducted seven RIDE checks across the municipality as part of Operation Impact. Police say they also removed two suspended drivers, one prohibited driver, one stunt driver and one impaired driver from local roads. Two other drivers received seven-day licence suspensions for alcohol-related offences.
