Windsor Police Service has arrested a 43-year-old man after a sexual assault investigation involving a 17-year-old girl. Shortly after 7 p.m. on July 5, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Through investigation, police say they learned that during the early morning hours of July 1, the suspect led the girl behind a business in the 400 block of Pitt Street West. Once there, he allegedly removed both his own clothing and the victim’s clothing before sexually assaulting her. Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on July 7, officers located and arrested the suspect in the area of Park Street East and Ouellette Avenue. The 43-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault.
