ZWIESEL, Germany - World Cup champion Lindsey Vonn says she sustained a concussion in a crash during practice and is still not sure whether she will compete in the final two races before the world championships.

Vonn tells The Associated Press she will have a medical check Friday morning before deciding whether to race in a World Cup slalom race.

A giant slalom is scheduled for Saturday.

The American hit her head in a crash Wednesday while practising the giant slalom in Austria.

Vonn is hoping to defend her super-G and downhill titles at the world championships beginning Feb. 8 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
