A person was seriously injured in a shooting in Langley Wednesday, according to authorities. Officers received reports of a shooting near the intersection of 196 Street and 28 Avenue just after 5 p.m. where one person was found in “medical distress,” Mounties said in a statement. “The individual was promptly transported to a local area hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries,” Const. Meghan Marsden said, in the statement, adding that additional details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
