A truck that drove into a townhouse in Port Moody, B.C., remained lodged in the building days after the collision. The crash happened Friday, displacing some of the residents of the usually quiet complex. On Tuesday, the vehicle was still stuck in the same spot. One neighbour said he heard the startling collision when it happened. “I heard the speed bump and bang,” Monty Lilburn told CTV News. Days later, he is wondering how the people who live in the townhouse are coping. “I can’t imagine what they must be going through,” he said. The Port Moody Police Department told CTV News no one was injured, but that two homes have sustained significant structural damage. Police also said the driver was issued a violation ticket for failing to secure the vehicle.
