A sex offender who poses a “significant risk” to adolescent males has been released into the community, according to the RCMP in B.C. Graham Daniel Dodge, 38, was released from jail Tuesday and will be living in Kelowna while on probation, Mounties said in a public warning. Dodge was arrested in December of 2024 for breaching probation after serving time behind bars for possession of child sexual abuse material and sexual interference with a minor, according to authorities. “Further investigation led to evidence he was in possession of child pornography, and the Kelowna RCMP recommended further charges,” the warning from police said. After roughly 16 months in custody, Dodge was released Tuesday after pleading guilty and receiving a sentence “which equated to time served,” the RCMP said. The conditions of Dodge’s probation include having no contact with anyone under the age of 18 except for his immediate family, a prohibition on going to public places where minors are present or likely to be present, and restrictions on internet use. “Based on his criminal history, pattern of reoffending and risk assessment, Dodge poses a significant risk to adolescent males (under the age of 18) including both acquaintances and members of the public,” the RCMP warning said. “This information is being released to enable members of the public to take appropriate precautions and awareness,” it continued.
