A section of Vancouver’s Stanley Park Sewall that had been blocked off for more than a week has now reopened. The stretch between Prospect Point and Third Beach was closed on Dec. 21 following a slide of mud, rocks and vegetation caused by heavy rainfall. Following site assessments, it reopened at 1 p.m. Monday. “Thank you for your patience,” the city wrote in an update. “Please observe posted signage and use caution in areas that may still be slippery.”
