Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Abbotsford, B.C., that sent three people to hospital, including one who was airlifted with life-threatening injuries. Officers responded to the crash on Highway 11 at the intersection with Townshipline Road shortly after midnight on June 1, the Abbotsford Police Department said in a news release Thursday. First responders arrived to find a heavily damaged black Chrysler 300 with three injured occupants inside. “All three were transported to hospital, with one individual airlifted in life-threatening condition,” the department said. “The investigation remains in its early stages.” Authorities say the vehicle was eastbound on Townshipline Road when it failed to negotiate a turn and struck a concrete barrier before crossing over the highway. Investigators are asking anyone who saw the vehicle around the time of the crash or who has video of it to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
