Police in Chilliwack, B.C., are asking the public to help identify a man after a serious assault was reported at a nightclub earlier this month. The Chilliwack RCMP say officers were called to the nightclub on Main Street after the assault occurred at around 11:45 p.m. on May 7. “The victim reported sustaining serious injuries as a result of the incident,” the detachment said in a news release. Investigators reviewed surveillance video from the scene and are now looking to speak with a man to further their investigation. Police described the man as approximately 19 years old with a medium build. He was hearing a black T-shirt, black pants, black sunglasses and black and white shoes at the time of the incident, according to police. The man also has tattoos on his left forearm and bicep, the release said. Anyone who recognizes the man or who has information about the assault is asked to contact the Chilliwack RCMP.
