Mounties investigating a homicide in northern British Columbia have released surveillance video of an alleged person of interest in the case. One victim was found dead and another was found suffering from gunshot wounds after what police described as a targeted incident last month in Prince George. The victims were located when officers were called to a residence in the 1900 block of Spruce Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 16. “Multiple people in the residence were detained during the investigation and were subsequently released without charge,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP, in a statement the day after the incident. Investigators are now asking the public to help identify a man who was captured on surveillance video “in the area during the time of the homicide,” the RCMP said in a statement Tuesday. The man in the video is wearing what police described as a “unique beige-coloured, Burberry-style track suit” with black and white flip-flops. Police also published a stock image of the Burberry track suit that investigators believe the man was wearing. “If anyone knows who this person is or where they are staying, we encourage them to call our non-emergency line, or to contact Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers with the information,” Cooper said in the statement.
