A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Surrey late Wednesday night. The Surrey Police Service said officers were called to a collision involving a man and a single vehicle just before midnight near the intersection of 108 Avenue and 142 Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police said the driver remained at the scene and is co-operating with investigators. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is assisting in the investigation. Authorities said the cause of the crash is still unclear.
