Commuters are being warned of hazardous travel conditions on B.C.’s northwestern coast Monday morning due to heavy fog. Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a fog advisory for Prince Rupert and parts of Highway 16, calling for “near-zero visibility” in some areas. “Be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility and allow extra time to reach your destination. If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance,” the notice reads. The weather agency says conditions are expected to improve late Monday morning.
