A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Richmond Tuesday afternoon, police confirmed Wednesday. Richmond RCMP said officers were called to the scene at No. 1 Road and Lockhart Road just before 4:45 p.m. following reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a sedan. Mounties told CTV News officers secured the scene while B.C. Emergency Health Services provided medical care to those involved. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, where police say they later died from their injuries. Richmond RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation and Mounties said no further information will be released at this time.
