A man was stabbed during a fight outside a gas station in downtown Vancouver Tuesday night, according to police. Officers were called to the Esso at Davie and Burrard streets around 8:40 p.m., Vancouver Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Adam Donaldson told CTV News. “When officers arrived, the fight had ended, and they located both men involved. One man was found with a stab wound,” he wrote in an email. “It is not known what the fight was about or whether the two men knew each other prior to the incident.” A suspect was arrested and police recommended a charge of aggravated assault against him. Police say the victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
