A man was arrested at the scene of a fatal stabbing in Abbotsford Sunday morning, but no charges have been laid yet, according to homicide investigators. Police found the 41-year-old victim suffering from life-threatening injuries inside a home in the 33900 block of McCrimmon Drive just after 11 a.m., the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said. Despite intervention from first responders he died in hospital. “Police identified several individuals who were at the residence and a 35-year-old man was arrested in relation to this incident,” IHIT wrote in an update Monday. “Charges have not been laid, and a number of priority tasks are underway as IHIT investigators determine the man’s involvement in the stabbing.” Investigators believe the stabbing was a targeted, isolated incident with no ongoing risk to the general public. “The scene remains contained and you can expect investigators to be there for some time as we execute searches and interview all the witnesses,” IHIT spokesperson Sgt.
