Someone won half a million dollars on a lottery ticket purchased in Vancouver last summer and may not know it, according to the B.C. Lottery Corporation. “Where were you last July? If you were in Vancouver, be sure to check your beach bags, suitcases and junk drawers,” the BCLC wrote in a media release Monday. Anyone who entered the July 21, 2025, Daily Grand draw should check their tickets, as a $500,000 Extra win remains unclaimed. Lottery winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize, so the lucky individual has a few months left to receive their windfall before it expires. The winning Extra numbers were 7,16, 67 and 98. The odds of winning the $500,000 top Extra prize on a Daily Grand ticket are roughly one in 3.76 million.
