A person was shot in Delta early Sunday morning, according to authorities. Officers were called to the scene in the 10600 block of 64th Avenue just after 4:30 a.m., a statement from the Delta Police Department said. “A victim was located at scene with a minor, non-life-threatening injury and was subsequently transported to hospital in stable condition,” the statemen said. “A suspect vehicle was identified as a grey Kia Forte which fled the area prior to police arrival.” No one has been arrested but police said they do not believe there is a risk to the public. Anyone with information or dash-cam video from the area between 4 and 4:45 a.m. is urged to call the Delta Police Department at 604-946-4411.
